Those are certainly better than promags. They were shipping stock with Vector 93's for a while and are generally fine.

the seller emailed me back and said I would probably need to replace the magazine catch with an original. This is beginingto be very complicated. If I do that, I wonder if the original HK mag will still work?

Great question. To me, I'd take a risk on a single mag and buy more if it works as-is.

Buy the MKE mags from HKSpecialist instead, $34/ea instead

https://www.hkspecialiststore.com/produ ... y=sequence

Has promags also
https://www.hkspecialiststore.com/produ ... eNumber=16

ETA: says the MKE mags might not work with century guns because the mag catch is shallow. If that's the case it should be an issue using original HK mags with an OEM mag catch. Im assuming the promag mags have a shallow cut

Well guess what? It actually IS in the shipping Dept now.
Just got the notification and double checked my Buds account to be sure.
Any word for your order?

Don’t waste your money. MKE emailed me back. Since I can post the photo. I’ll quote him

Mr. Brown,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, our polymer magazines do not fit the C93 properly. We’ve had several customers report this issue in the past and send back unused Z-43P magazines. I do not have a C93 handy to determine exactly what is different, but the magazine well does not properly accept our MKE magazines. I’m sorry that we can’t help you with your firearm.

Sincerely,

Rob Moses

Nope. Called them and they said they don’t go in order. What a fucking shit show for customers.

Hmmm....maybe they prioritize by how much business you have done with them?

Or maybe they just like me better.

I picked up my Buds/PTR/Century C93 today, love me some HK "slap". It's well built and finished with a Black Powder coat, like an HK should be . :thumbsup2:

Unlike a Century Monkey built C93, i got the much better build quality and warranty from PTR and at half the price of a used Century C93.

I hate the Century Trigger housing though, (Lower) and will be replacing it with a pinned and clipped HK metal one or an HK Navy Polymer in the future. The grip on the Century Trigger housing is too thin, it doesn't feel at all "right".

A couple options here, Navy or Steel, your choice when back in stock.

https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/Trig ... s-c122.htm

Already ordered a proper Buttstock to replace the Century sourced POS one, one with a proper Steel backplate.

https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/HK93 ... 9p2924.htm

The biggest issue with the damn things is mags. MKE or Promag are cheap, if you want Aluminum Malaysian 40 rd mags they ain't cheap.

https://www.apexgunparts.com/hk33-hk93- ... 56x45.html

These guns were a steal during the pre-order for 549.00, a used Century Monkey built is 1000.00 or more now with a shit Warranty and finish.

I am pretty pleased with it overall, thanks for the link to the sale Gasitman. :thumbsup2: :wagwoot:

Did you get yours yet?

:peep:

I picked mine up yesterday as well. Pretty happy with it, and hoping to get to shoot it sometime soon.
