Good: Day 1 of a 4 day defensive handgun course is done. I’ve learned a ton, and am wiped out.

Bad: My grip and stance suck, so I have to unlearn the bad while trying to learn the good.

I've never shot a counted round of pigeons... we just throw and shoot.
Pretty sure you'd whoop me with your 22, so no tears of sympathy for that "bad news." :party1:

:ROFLMAO: We shoot on a Regulation 16yd American Trap field, and there is some competition involved.
The boy beat me all 5 rounds. icon_eek

I think i shot a 19, a 22, 20, 20 and 18. It was good for the Boy to lay the Wood to the old Man though, he is getting better. :wagwoot:

I need to get him a new O/U though, that Tri-Star Upland Hunter is getting wore out. It's a Field gun, it wasn't meant for the number of rounds fired shooting Trap.
He has about 2k through it now and it's having some issues. I will buy a new one and give him my CZ Redhead Premier. :thumbsup2:

Focus on the bird. Don't let your eyes drift into the space between the bird and your barrel. Feel the lead, don't look at it.

Or whatever mystical shit works for you.

Bad News
The search function is a no-go for netflix. I could not find my posts about whether or not netflix would work after the wifes kids were here.
Must have something to do with the site melt down.
Anyway, it does work... kinda.
Wife's daughter left a msg. for her saying she couldn't watch anything because we already were using it.
Apparently it only works on one screen at a time.
With the difference in time zones we have been pretty lucky.
Good News
So, the daughter is now going to add us to her account.
A whopping $2.58 in USD :thumbsup2:

Bad news;
My 2007 Jeep Sahara needed the following (129k miles)
Rear main seal (typical for Jeeps)
Clutch kit
Clutch Slave Cylinder
Sachs gear driven fly wheel
Oil pan gasket
Water pump and gasket
Intake manifold gasket
PCV valve
New spark plugs and wire set
$2600

Bad news, driving it home I had to double pump a "soft clutch" to get it to go into gear.
Bad news, Check Engine light came on 3 times driving home

Good news, mechanic is a great guy, he's been doing major work on my vehicles since 2001. Honest fellow
Good news, bring the jeep back, his wife will give me a ride home tomorrow.

The ol Pick N Shovel, Wally's, and the Kettle(Yes I know the Kettle is in Enumclaw and in King County) are the only things I miss about living out in the sticks of Pierce County.

Jealous. Used to love stopping at Wally's on the way back from ski days at Crystal Mtn. Great place to eat and love the old school drive-in.

Good news - Scored a pair of Dearfoam slippers at Costco for $10 --- nice slippers for $10. I usually pick up the cheap slippers from RiteAid for $7.50-15 depending if I catch them on sale.

Bad news - Went to Costco to pick up wipers for the 4Runner since they were on sale for $6 - main reason I grabbed the neighbors card and headed there --- they had TONS of them.... 18-26" length ...... The 4Runner needs 17"...... fuckers.

I would have been much more pissed if I hadn't scored a nice pair of slippers.....
