Make sure you assign a value to each gun, and add up all the values to get a total.

Got some trigger time on a Chiappa Pak-9. Little AK-like pistol. Blowback 9 mm that uses glock mags. It ran very well

I have a spreadsheet to track all that...

I made up a spreadsheet also. I did do the values, but I hide that column. I was more intent on my kids knowing which firearms were family, or ones that hold more than monetary value. So there’s also a column for origin and customizations.

:thumbsup2:

Good call - I do something similar. I list all specs on parts & accessories, any story behind it, modifications performed, and even which ammo it shoots best. I decided to leave value off the sheet because my wife has access to the file, and I don't want to have to sleep with one eye open.

I finally put together a spreadsheet not too long ago that has the values. It's saved on a flashdrive that I pray my wife never finds. Unless I'm dead. Maybe I should seal it up and have Steve mail it to her if I die.

Just show it to your wife now, and then you will die, and that way you can cut out the middle man

Picked up a Desert Tech MDR 308Win in black from Sound Loan via Gunbroker. Only two dream guns left on the list.

https://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Brows ... rs=1474803

They do a lot of penny auctions with no reserve. Paid less than the pre-order price.

Edit: looks like they learned their lesson and set a reserve price for their current MDR auctions.
