So, there's a shooting at a mall. Law abiding citizen pulls his firearm. Cop shows up, no warning, no commands, shoots the guy in the back of the head, killing him. The dep't wants to give him a medal... Wtf. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/201 ... olice.htmlThe involved agency also refused to release any surveillance or body cams... So much for 'but, body cams will tell the truth'.... Kinda hard when they control them. In shit like this, I'd be more than OK with 'We The People' storming the station and getting the footage themselves.. Un-fucking-acceptable 2 law abiding citizens in the last month shot and killed by cops... 2 more killed before that by LAPD... Who is the real threat? Thugs killing thugs, or protected and served the shit out of by killing you? Again. You train cops to shoot first so they can 'go home at the end of the night' and this is what you get.

On this one, if it actually happened as stated, I agree. LEO should be facing at the least manslaughter.

The lefties will just use this as fuel in that if only cops (and bad guys) had guns it wouldn't happen.

That's horrible. I agree, accountability is completely lacking here. If the police want the public trust they need to be transparent as possible about these incidents.

We really should be focusing on either finding the truth, and if it is the truth the fact that the PD fucked up baaaad. There is zero left or right here.

Obviously, we all want, and are focused on, the truth. Your unwillingness to admit that the left skews gun violence data is laughable. Like when they act like ARs account for a higher propensity of shootings than they do. We can walk, and chew gum... Yes, we demand the truth to come out, and yes, liberals who wish to impune our 2nd Amendment rights will use this to fuel their cause, while totally ignoring the fact that a woman in South Carolina, trained in firearms, was home alone when an escaped convict broke in at 3am, and has he broke down her bedroom door, she shot him in the head. That won't make their bullet points...

Wow....if all of what the Family and witnesses say is True, that Cop just Executed him from behind. The refusal to release body Cam footage is disturbing too, it sure doesn't support the Cops position in this.
I will wait and see what happens to make a final judgement, but it doesn't sound right at this point.

I always thought that shooting a man in the back was an act that instantly pulled your man card, but maybe that's just me.

Dep't said he was brandishing a firearm.
Dep't now says he may not have even had it in his hand,
The official story has changed multiple times now....

That guy needs to be charged and now. Without passing ANY judgment on what happened in this particular situation, I don't think you can say that shooting a person in the back is always wrong. I know, that's the moral of every cowboy story, but in the real world I don't think that applies.

Shooting a Frenchman in the back is always excusable and does not require surrender of man card. Especially a French Canadian. Extra points if he's from Quebec.
