In fact, this would solve several other EDC problems I have been trying to find a solution for. (For instance. Any way that I have found to carry glasses so far, has resulted in damaged glasses. I could carry them in this vest in a hard case.) I'll pay shipping and handling to Index.

Wow! Thank you!! This is going to be perfect! My favorite carry weapon was a charter arms bulldog pug. In .347 My favorite way to carry it was in a pocket that I sewed into a coat, myself. When I saw this pif, the first thought I had was to wonder why I hadn't thought of doing that again. I could never wait for cold weather so I could wear that coat! LOL This vest will be useful for a larger part of the year, than that coat. Thanks again! If it doesn't fit, or otherwise doesn't work for me, I'll re-PIF it.

Can't promise how soon that will be. Car troubles... My 'review' of the vest. Great vest! The two reasons I am passing it on: Just a bit too small. And, the 'holster', is too near the 'lapel. This vest has no collar. With the gun holstered so near the lapel of the vest, the weight of the gun causes the neckline of the vest to cut into your neck. VERY uncomfortable. I can see two ways this could be remedied. Either put a good thick padded collar on the vest. Or, move the holster to where it is essentially under the armpit. I don't mean right up in the armpit. I mean, just pretty much centered on the side of the vest. That way, the weight is carried by the swath of cloth over your shoulder, instead. I don't have the necessary time, to do the cutting and sewing, for a vest that is also a size too small. Maybe someone else will have better luck with it, or will be able to alter it for themselves. Thank you YukonJon for the great PIF!

But it could also sit around for quite a while before I did so, and if someone else could use it instead in the meantime... This gives me incentive to make a holster pocket in a different kind of vest...
