Good season, lots of positives going into next season.

Id still take Russ over Dak 7 days a week.

Agreed! Keep running the ball next year and improve the secondary. I think the O line even surprised themselves how well they did this season.

Yep...

And not sure how a 2 point loss played to the final seconds is a roast, but okay, get your groove on, if you want....

Talking heads said 4-12 Hawks season.
I said 8-8.

I think they did well for a rebuilding year finishing 10-7.

cowgirls will be eliminated before getting to the big dance.

I barely care, but been a Bears 'fan' since my childhood so would like to see them do well. Tough loss on the end of a great season. They lost 5 games by a total of 15 pts this year. Total.

Image

Parkey their kicker missed 10 kicks this year (7 field goals, 3 PATS, total of 24pts). TWO of them were critical and cost the Bears the game, including today's 43 yard miss. Unbelievable. He has 1 job...Bears should be 14 - 3 and headed to the NFC championship game. Instead 12-5 and heading to the off season.

Dude missed 4 kicks in a win against the Lions... how he has a job coming into tonight I am confused.

Then again, looking back at the great Kevin Butler, he had very similar seasons and % made, with a career of 75% FGM and 95% PATs...

Just quite annoying for a kicker to miss clutch kicks. (Unless you're the winning team I guess. lol.)

The TEAM has to out the kicker in position to win or lose. You dont get saddle kickers with all close losses(or wins for that matter).

You may be right. They have to go to LA to play a tough Rams team that has beaten the Hawks twice this season. However, win or lose, they went a round farther than the Hawks. Pot shot at them at will.

Just goes to show how important the kicking game is. So many wins and losses decided by missed kicks or extra points.

Free throws and kicking make or break games.

I remember our coach emphasized this.

The Bears kicker had the ball deflected by Eagles line man.....so I would say maybe not the kickers fault
