When Congress created the Interstate Highway System in 1956, states were prohibited from tolling the interstates, with the exception of states that already had tolls in place. But 99 is a state highway.

What happens when there's a Demonstration Downtown.
Like there is today.

I think people will make it until Wednesday. The weekend will be light traffic. Monday will be the first challenge. People will complain but suffer. Tuesday people will start to get crazy. Wednesday somebody will snap. And I think it will be Wednesday afternoon, after work. Trying to get home.
Also, the tunnel is to get by Seattle as fast as possible. It's not meant to get into Seattle. It's actually pretty nice. Fuck Seattle.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk There are toll lanes on I-405. They start around Canyon Park in the north end. The exits aren't tolled.

Second, Fuck Seattle! Third, they don't have enough money to pay me to drive through that thing. Built in quick sand, fuck that. Forth, Fuck Seattle!

I'm going to guess the Friday night commute will hold the first true conflicts.

My hope is that people will start seeing the futility of working or spending any money in Seattle and stop going there. They’ve already pushed most major grocers outside the city limits. Maybe it will become a food dessert like they talk about on the npr? Anyway here’s hoping the misery drives all the useless idiots out.

And...I was reading something about the NY Turnpike using the system to monitor speed. You enter at time "x". You exit at time "y". If you leave faster than expected, you get a ticket mailed to your home. Fkdup.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hop in the ride and roll out I90 eastbound. In about 30 hours you will hit a toll on the highway. No exit.
