Just discovered a little hiccup for us. There is a 7000 pound forklift in the bed of my pickup, and my crane won't start.
Working on it.

You need a dirt/gravel dock

That fella was not lightning fast with the little excavator, was he?

Loading dock : Next year. Er, this year, I hope. Have a 40' flatbed that I was going to build a loading dock with... So many projects, so little of life left.

Kind of need a solid deck for solid tires on some of the machines.

I still have one chance left... A friend can crane it off for me and I pick it back up with a trailer.
Otherwise, no Centralia for this family tomorrow.

It looks like we'll have about 10ish people... I'll call on the way up and ask if they can have seating for 10 reserved for WaGuns.

See yous there. :wagwoot:

I want to thank everybody that made it to breakfast this morning. I haven’t met many Waguns people in person before this, so it was nice to put some faces to the names. I tend to work too much and don’t make enough time for this kind of stuff. Everybody I met today was great and I look forward to seeing everybody again.

While I haven’t met a lot of Waguns people, everybody I have met is somebody I would hang out with any time. The thing that scares me about saying this is there is always one person that is a problem and since I haven’t found them yet I’m thinking it might be me. :)

Thanks to princess sks for the ammo cans

It's not you, buddy. It's PMB.

If it wasn't for PrincesSKS, we'd have dumped that boy a long time ago. thumbsup

I'm sorry that I couldn't make it today. Last night I realized that we had appliance delivery scheduled for this morning.

So, did the PMB-ians make it there and back without exercising their AAA card?

That was a great breakfast, both food and company. I did not partake in libations, but the Balrog assured me that Country Cousin pours a decent draught beer. She ordered her glass after O_K ordered his, but finished her first before Owen had even taken a sip of his.

It was great meeting up with Scorpion Rider, Tactical Tuna and his bride, O-Kellogg, danoh...
The Dread Princess and the Balrog were also in attendance, a little more grumpy and demanding than the rest of the crowd, but still tolerable good company.

As I was uploading the photo of the poor parenting exercised by the Dread Princess (Really? a standard lager? The kid can handle a double IPA!) I noticed the libelous conversation inserted by MadPick. You guys dump me anytime... :thumbsup2: With prejudice!

Had a great conversation, and the seating was such that all could visit together. Very nice. Mr danoh brought a stack of the new US2A.org flyers to distribute at the gun show. Nicely done.

After the breakfast we had 100% of the Breakfast Club in attendance at the Centralia Gun Show, where we also got to visit snakebit99, Rencorp, Free Boer, rdb241, Barfly, MarcusP23, Urbanminer, ... There were more, but I'll remember them after I post this. hah
I was more into catching up with a few fellows who I hadn't seen in several months due to our inability to attend for the last several months rather than buy up the goods. Of course, there were several great deals to be had and I did loosen the purse strings for a few small items.
I sent a pic of a deal that I saw to Mr MadPick, but my friendliness was met with libel and slander in the forum and not a peep in reply to the sms. Seriously, I considered picking up another M39. I love me some Finn WW2 rifles.

danoh, O_K, Scorpion Rider and I talked out in the parking lot about halfway through our CGS experience... It was over 50F... Amazingly warm for near mid January. A few of us drooled on Scorpion Rider's ride, and I offered to trade him straight across for a 4x4 Suburban, 454, the good transmission version, and the Burb even comes with a special radiator ventilation system! Just pop the radiator cap and check out those bubbles! You don't get to see that just every day.
He thought long, deep and hard about my trade proposal and replied with a chuckle starting at about .25 seconds after I offered. Probably didn't want to have the guilt of taking advantage of me. Helluva nice guy.

danoh and I completed some paperwork out in the heat of January. The Balrog switched from a WaGuns t-shirt to a t-shirt of a peace sign made up of donuts. No kidding. What can a father do? Apparently she found a food spot from breakfast on the WaGuns t-shirt, and she's kind of particular that way.

The Dread Princess, Scorpion Rider and RENCORP completed ammo can deals in the parking lot.
Uhm... what else? I arrived late to a table that had a stack of 30 of the old NRA targets... 10 cents a piece. The seller said that another man had just bought 50.
Image
Well, nice that he left 30 for us. I love those things, especially now as the Balrog is beginning her shooting.

Another table was manned by a ~12 year old. Nice! Prices were fair, he had good social skills, and then I saw some $5 scopes.
4 scopes for a cool $20.

"Why did you buy 4 cheap scopes PMB?"
50BMG baby. You betcha.

All 4 had relatively clear glass and seemed in fine shape. At least one of them is going on the 50BMG for fun until it either falls apart or I can find the $ for a nice scope. That might be a while.

MarcusP23 had a lead pot and several reloading manuals that were snagged up as my posse slowed down at one of his tables. I do love some old reloading manuals. :4couple:

Barfly is doomed to failure as a gun show salesperson. He had high quality products, a good selection, nice arrangement/display skills, good conversation, and he researched prices to make sure that he sold at a great price.
I felt a little bad for him... :ROFLMAO:
Naw, for real he should have sold out quickly. Great job, and I wish that he'd be a regular there. :thumbsup2:

A little past Barfly's table I soiled my britches as I spied two old magazines from 1929 and 1930 that had nothing to do with firearms. I don't know how it works... but it is a little embarrassing to lose control of bodily functions like that.
3 more publications came from that table into my bag of goodies.
snakebit99 had a table of goodness, and a few items that I had to scratch my head trying to figure out why they were still there at such good prices. Seriously.

There was more goodness... have to visit with a friend who just stopped by. Be back later.

I learned today that PMB was well spoken, but I had no idea you were so eloquent with a keyboard.

It was a bit noisy for my crappy ears..... walked into the back room where a bunch of guys were... Didn't recognize any of them, but it was more like 20.... I'm thinking I have a lot of names to learn...... Figgered out I was in the wrong room, so I walked back out front where Mike's Princess found me. LoL.

I overdosed on carbs and sugar since I can't have any of it at home.... (Gluten Free) So when I'm out of the house, I load up as much as I can stand. Bacon was good too. Menu at Country Cousins is pretty impressive.

Was good to finally meet the famous Rene. I'm sorry I wasn't able to connect any more to this forum. Some day.

Some of the vendors had some pretty good "tongue-in-cheek" signs that were pretty funny. Got to talking to one about US2A, and he seemed genuinely interested. So I gave him a couple flyers.

Rene had a pistol that was whining and looking at me with its only soulful eye (barrel)...... Whew..... Made it out alive...... Did buy a Gadsen License plate though.
