It was weird, but we are pretty sure the Chronograph was working I think this points out, perhaps, that it's pretty hard to guess velocity by perceived recoil or "bang like noise" .

It was weird, but we are pretty sure the Chronograph was working I'm shocked by the Blazer velocity as well (the S&B doesn't surprise me - I've always been happy with it). I was actually about to order a case of the Blazer to take advantage of the rebate, but after reading this blog post, I went with a case of S&B instead. Price difference was negligible, so it was an easy decision. Thanks for the report, Casey! And thanks for the lead on the S&B deal, Pablo.

I find it difficult to believe that 115gr 9mm @ 500fps will cycle a properly functioning gun.
