I have one of Joelle’s Co workers crashing here so I’ll be a 6am taxi to the hospital so these nurses can get to work! That’s hot! Put the boys to bed and pour some hot buttered rum. What happens in snowpocalypse stays in snowpocalypse! Awaiting the video... The Architect & Nurses Gone Wild? "What if I told you, that the power was out, and a "nurse friend" needed a ride...?

She said she didn't think she could get out of her driveway in Spanaway because she had almost a foot of snow, and was expecting more. When I suggested that she should have been working on it during the weekend, instead of waiting until late Sunday afternoon, she said she didn't have a snow shovel. I told her to ask a neighbor to borrow a shovel. She replied back later that the only shovel she could find/borrow was a clamming shovel, so she used that! LOL, only in western WA! Nice to know someone values their job. Correct, she actually does. She's a commercial truck driver, knows how to chain up her rig when needed, and she lives within walking distance of Walmart. So I really did expect her to be better prepared, not scrambling to borrow a clamming shovel!

The good news is...I haven't seen one damn mosquito in a week or two! On another note, I took wife out yesterday in her Xdrive BMW which she has driven a lot in the snow in the past. I wanted her to understand how the DTC works, and when to disengage FULLY if she finds herself stuck and needs to rock the car out. I also made her shit her pants when I disable DTC while driving and throttled it, going sideways for just a second or two. She truly appreciates the Xdrive dynamic traction control now and all that its doing for her.

Took me almost an hour hour to get from Des Moines to Kent this morning. Side roads are shit, main roads aren't terrible if you have decent tires or 4x4.

At least by now all the Civics and 2WD pickups have abandoned all hope.
