Has anyone ever had to get a replacement. I had it approved in November but moved before it was approved and never updated my address. I just got the replacement from the ATF with a embossed seal with a signature. It doesnt have a stamp or even a photocopied stamp. It this good to go if I get stopped by local leo?

Yhea, you won't get another "stamp" because those are actual $200 STAMPS. What this is, is a certified copy of your form, minus the stamp.
Also, pro-tip. Local LEO probably won't ask to see your stamp because it's a federal document, and AFAIK, only a Fed can "demand" to see those papers.

I've shot with my can there a few times (Tacoma Sportsman) and have never been asked to show my stamp. How recent has this asking for proof of stamp been?
About the only hassle I've had was not being allowed to shoot my AR pistol on the pistol range, as no bottle neck cartridges allowed on the pistol range, which I can understand, though my subsonic .300 AAC I'm sure damages the berm much less than .44 mags! But then I can't shoot the AR pistol on the member rifle range as no pistols are allowed. Talk about a catch 22. I have to go to the public rifle range with it, where shooting the AR pistol is OK on that rifle range. What's the diff?

I don’t see anywhere in those sections that states I have to show anyone my stamp. It’s a tax document and doesn’t have to be showed to anyone but the atf which is what the federal law says. California even reached out to the ATF when they passed their MG ban to see who owns MG in the state. The Atf told them to get fucked it’s tax documents and none of their business. Not sure about .190, but .220 says "...it shall be the duty of all peace officers, and/or any officer or member of the armed forces of the United States or the state of Washington, to seize said machine gun, short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle, or parts thereof, wherever and whenever found."
So, having proof your shit is legal is the only way to not get it seized by WA peace officers. Feel free to be a test case...me? I find it works well to keep a copy of my stamps with the items.

Well...it works like this.
Let us say that yours truly is in the vicinity when someone uncases an obvious SBR.
I contact that person, compliment them on their choice of firearms, then ask how they went about doing the SBR.
The ONLY answer I'm waiting for is something along the lines of, "Yep. Did the Form 1---the wait time sucked, but I got it!"
Or:
Bought it from (fill in the blank here). Transferring on a Form 4 was a pain in the butt, but we got it done, and I got a sweet deal on this SBR."
Anything else? Possession of an SBS or select fire/full auto? Better show me a tax stamp/Form 4 dated before 7-1-1994.
Don't have it?
My next phrase will be, "Sir (or ma'am) you are now becoming the focus of my investigation. (Insert Miranda warning here).
Can you say C Felony?
And yes...I have had a nimrod try to tell me while I was doing RSO that an SBR he had was made by a friend IN CALIFORNIA, who had SOLD IT TO HIM FACE TO FACE without a legal transfer.
Bottom line...carry a copy of your Form 1 or Form 4 with you whenever you have that NFA out to play.

"The ONLY answer I'm waiting for is something along the lines of, "Yep. Did the Form 1---the wait time sucked, but I got it!"" Well mine would be "Form 1, around 30 days!" I thought ID and engraving are enough, but have to have a paper? I will have a copy. Not original.

Bottom line...carry a copy of your Form 1 or Form 4 with you whenever you have that NFA out to play. And this ladies and gentlemen is how our 2nd amendment rights erode over time. I’m sure back in 1986 the pro2a police probably wouldn’t enforce those laws like the police are saying they aren’t going to enforce 1639. A generation or two down the line and they start bragging about arresting people for NFA violations like a generation or two they’re going to brag about arresting an 18 year old with an ar. Powderman I know you’re just doing your job but I wouldn’t really brag about arresting people and making sure people are following unconstitutional laws on a gun board. Sbr dude probably didn’t know the law as the laws are so fucking idiotic that he didn’t think that was a problem.

Powderman, if you really believe in 2A - not the watered down, infringed upon version - but the REAL version, then you wouldn't give 2 shits how someone acquired a firearm, NFA or otherwise; you would just be glad that they have one. By actively looking for violators of the 2A violations we call "gun control", you're promoting the infringement - not the exercise - of 2A.
