This makes me happy to see. Are they all walking ok? No obvious hoof issues?

As much as I love bagging them, there are some days out hunting when I just watch and let them stroll by. Tag schmag,

Same. We had a smallish herd up at our place, all gone now. I'd assumed that they were poached away, but was informed that it was more likely the hoof rot.
Heart break.

WDFW assigns hunters to cull elk with hoof rot. If you see something, say something.

The 9th district court ruled that they had to provide sufficient permanent housing before they could start rousting people from sidewalks... the 9th district court... imagine that...

And with props 47 and 57 they attempted to decriminalize certain behaviors to reduce jail overcrowding (and paying for more space) so what they've done is stopped paying for prisons and now they are paying to house, care for and treat those very same people in a less controlled environment on their doorsteps... hunh.

I'm not interested in how or where a weapon is made, as long as it does the job it needs to do and I know how to use it.
As long as it fires ammunition and you've got lots of it, that's all you should be concerned about.

Gave a friend a pair of concert tickets in Las Vegas I was unable to use, to see Disturbed. A show I really wanted to see. Bummed I could not go, but he had a great time and was appreciative.

Cleaned my roof and gutters today - they were a mess after the last couple windstorms - and it was a beautiful day to do it. Then my wife left to join a girlfriend for a night at Angel of the Winds, leaving me with the kids. Baby ate like a champ and went to sleep without a fight, and toddler will be asleep momentarily. I'm having a drink in bed and waiting for it to knock me out, too. Fingers crossed for a quiet, uneventful night.

Well, there are 5 or 6 that look to have severe limps. I assumed injured legs. The elk harvested the last couple years show no signs of good rot - could the infection spread so quickly in one year?

I know of two harvested this year and no hoof rot thete either.
