I think we need a new thread for Brian. We’ll call it “Glamour Shots.” Nice photo!

Loaded up 10 rounds each of 38 Special with 158gr LRN over 4.4, 4.6, 4.8, and 5.0gr Unique. Planning to run them over the chrono next weekend to get a good sample of velocities with different powder charges. Unique has worked well for me being very consistent though it burns fairly dirty being the main drawback. I've been using 5.0gr Unique from back when I was going to the Capital City Beginner/Intermediate Match in Little Rock south of Tumwater. There I needed to knock large steel plates completely off their stands/footings to score points. Gearing up for Steel Challenge now here in Texas where I just need to ring the plates. So I'm downloading to a Power Factor about 130 which turns out to about 820 fps with a 158gr projectile. This way I can hopefully reduce my powder charge to somewhere around 4.6gr which will allow a bit less recoil and faster recovery time between shots. So goes the theory anyways Also loaded up some dummy rounds with no powder or primer and worked them into a couple moon clips so I can do revolver reloads in dry fire practice in the living room.

Something seems odd about Breck’s reloading area . . . .
Oh, I see it now. It’s clean and organized.

Added some new storage containers for brass. I had a bunch of 2.7qt containers and found I had multiple full of ready to load brass for each caliber. And none for prep stages. Seemed good enough reason to buy more containers and go bigger! Amazon showed the 5.5qt no longer avail, more searching found puyallup wall Mart had them cheap. <30 after tax for 7 of them. Labelled up and trasfered ready to load brass into them. Here is the under bench stock. Overstock, range and in process brass storage is in closet where I also do wet tumbling. Really impressed by the organization of Breck and Lamrith's reloading areas. Nice work!!! This is inspiring me to up my game in terms of new containers to sort cases by readiness (i.e. need to clean, ready to load). Soon will be off to WalMart for some new bins.
