Yeah this has happened to us too. Grateful that our credit union flags this activity. Not so happy having to comb through our bill vendor auto-pay arrangements and update them to replacement cards.
Apparently the world has a significant population of people who work very hard to avoid honest work and instead rely on defrauding other people, companies, and government agencies of money that's not rightfully theirs.

Yep. We have to get a new CC issued every year due to some sort of charge that is obviously suspect ($400 at Walmart in a state I've never been to?)
CC companies have even started texting us if we left more than a 20% tip at a restaurant, which is good IMO. Text YES if you left that sort of tip or NO, I didn't mean to give the topless waitress a $100 tip......

Pablo wrote:Northwest Safe is total crap on moving safes. THEY SUCK.
I know everyone LOVES them, they couldn't schedule a toilet break if they needed to take a shit.
They have now left me high and dry. Bastards.
I just had a great experience with them. I would talk to Jeff. I'm sure he will make it right.

Same here, over the last few years I’ve had to cancel 4 debit cards due to charges that I know I didn’t make!!! If I ever run into one of these POS scammers they better pray to Jesus to save them cuz that’s the last conversation they will ever have.

I haven't had a credit card expire of old age since I moved to the US, either.
Might tell you something about your banking infrastructure.

Someone dumped 7 garbage bags of trash by my house today. The same drunk scumbag does it once a month. Empty alcohol bottles, hundreds of baby diapers, about 12 pairs of old shoes, car parts, lots of empty hot sauce bottles, baby food bottles, whole cloves of garlic, old fruit and broken dishes.

I have lived in 12 states, 2 foreign countries, and visited over 32 foreign cities. Washington cannot be topped for trash and trashy neighborhoods.

"Reality television star and bounty hunter Duane Chapman, better known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, called for law enforcement to adopt the use of non-lethal alternatives to lead bullets in an interview with 'Fox News Primetime' Thursday, citing a 43-year career of apprehending fugitives without ever shooting and killing anyone."
But........
As a convicted felon, Dog can't own a firearm due to a federal law banning "gun ownership by felons, fugitives, drug abusers, people adjudicated to be mentally ill, those dishonorably discharged from the military or living in the country illegally, and by convicted domestic abusers or others subject to domestic violence restraining orders," according to The New York Times.

He’s also not encountering people in the commission of a felony (murder, armed robbery, etc.), who think if they kill this person/officer in front of them, they can get away....

Capital gains tax. It isn't simple. And always higher than you expect.
This is the biggest check I've ever sent. $25K. I've learned my lesson.

Fell through some rotted steps on a deck today.
Luckily my leg broke the fall...
Got a nice slice to my finger, fixed up by super glue, and some scratches from my leg getting stuck between some boards, but otherwise OK. Still waiting for the adrenaline dump to wear off.
Went to go price 2x4s at the store...
FUCKING 7$ A PIECE. WTF happened to $1.68??!?!??
