You're sliding on ice there, and it is supposed to be 80 here tomorrow.

Work just announced 3 days PTO for Christmas. Too bad I haven't been here long enough to qualify. Oh well, I'll be alone anyway. Much easier to go fuck myself.

The governors $815 million dollar plan to help the homeless. Based on some estimated numbers from 2020, and rounding up about 5k to 30k homeless in the state of WA. That comes out to about $27,166.67 per homeless person. That is a crap ton of tax payer cash. I bet a number of homeless folks could use that $27k as a one time payment to get a job, a place to live, and get back on their feet and off the street. Instead it will be squandered with committees, high paying state jobs, advertising, clean ups, and no real help.

AKSHUALLY...

One of the reasons the Titanic hit, is they went full reverse, thus reducing the water flow over the rudder, which is used to steer the vessel.

Had they gone full steam ahead, or even maintained speed, they most likely could have avoided the iceberg, due to the additional steering capability.

Did that boat have a bow thrust propeller?

SEATTLE — The effort to recall controversial Seattle City Councilwoman Kshama Sawant from office appears to have been defeated, unofficial results posted Thursday by the King County Elections Office show.
