No matter how you feel about the Confederate flag drama . . . pulling the TV show is just plain idiotic.

This is the same knee jerk reaction that happened after Sandy Hook and guns, or even lamer is after 9/11 radio stations pulled Foo Fighter's song, "Learn to Fly." Nobody wants to offend anyone these days because someone will get upset somewhere and complain. We have now become a country of folks who do nothing but bitch and moan....as I type this in the "What has pissed you off today?" thread.

Talked to boss yesterday... 4 jobs in bend and 2 others close by...
Turns out there's 5 jobs in bend...
And whoops...forgot to mention another 4 in portland...
Oh..btw...we added one too...
6 turns into 12....
Started at 0800 and didn't finish until 2230..no breaks.... other than hours of driving..
Innocent mistake, he's got a ton on his plate, and he's a really great guy/boss, just frustrated that my work load doubled and he still expects it done in the same time frame.
Completely screws my plans to stop at HRO or Larsen

Yep, Our good old so called republican representatives completely caved again. As they always do. Still haven't really seen what our side got other than increases for all those wonderful Democratic bureaucrats, teachers, and state workers. COL increases are just a way of ever increasing the costs of government without any benefit. In the real world raises are given on merit and for work produced. Not because you warm a chair shifting paper from one side of the desk to the other.

Well COL are supposed to just keep up with inflation so that a wage doesn't lose value over time.

Ever notice how no matter how much the tax increase is in this state for 'transportation'and the roads are STILL crap... The way that WA utilizes the 'general fund'just blows my mind... The fact it even exists blows my mind...
Does the term "Light Rail" ring a bell? What a joke...
