I bought mine brand new in 2011. Base model as base model can be. No 4wd. I have caught alot of shit driving a JEEP without 4wd. Haven't had the need for it once. Good to have though I suppose.

Went to an ophthalmologist, and she did exhaustive tests as did her nurse.

Had a tiny eyelash that was growing weird.
Looked in the mirror and couldn't even see it.

Funny, Japanese Ophthalmologist didn't speak English very well, so she brings her Japanese assistant with her on patient visits so the Doc can do the exam while the assistant types everything she says (in broken English and Japanese mix) into the computer. Hahahaha

Ya, even if you only need 4WD once or twice, it's worth it.
Plus you get most of the money back at resale.
A lot of people won't buy a 2WD truck.

Knew a guy that traded in his 2WD dually, used to get stuck in wet grass and tore up his lawn.

I have an appointment for the 24th, for the same reason. I have to be patient until then. Luckily the antibiotics take the edge off the pain by killing the infection down somewhat. (Less pressure buildup by the infection = less pain.)
