I have an appointment for the 24th, for the same reason. I have to be patient until then. Luckily the antibiotics take the edge off the pain by killing the infection down somewhat. (Less pressure buildup by the infection = less pain.)

Old WD Caviar 2940 is still working (540 MB).
I did a head swap on it to recover data maybe 3-4 years ago.
Brought it home to show my son how it worked, ran it for awhile with the top off so he could see the heads move.
Put it back together a couple days later.
Sealed the gap around the side with electrical tape.
Still works fine. Hahahahaha
Don't think I'd store anything on it though....................

3 days, 15 total hours sleep of which most was on plane, daughter now married and discovering that SeaTac TSA is the problem.
Missed flight because TSA at SeaTac is a lazy cluster of an entity. Ever deal with a daughter that thinks her parents aren't going to make her wedding? That shit wasn't fun.....
Ohio, weapon received after flight, held at counter for me, and check in 3 days later amounted to all of maybe 2 minutes. While Seattle check in and receive was over 2 hours with 30 minutes of the lost my bag on return crap, left on deck whatever that means.
Privatize that shit, can't be worse than what they're doing now.
