Your camera broken?

It's about 7 feet long. That's a cedar 2x8 next to it.

Picked up a brick of Thunderbolt .22 at the Tumwater Wally World. They are 25 a box less tax, so about .05 a pull. They still had about 8 of them when I left. Good for plinking.

I've been seeing more and more .22 ammo showing up lately. Just wish the price would come down.

It probably won't.

Supply outranked demand for YEARS.... .22lr was cheap because it was plentiful and there was little demand.

Then demand went through the roof and supply was totally insufficient.

Now that manufacturers and distributors know how much people will pay for it, they can cut prices a little, but still be 2x what it was 5 years ago, and say 'see, we lowered prices' and people will accept it as the new norm. Same goes for taxes, gas, etc...

Found this on the side of the road at the top of the hill. Had clearly been sitting for a while.

Gonna leave it rough sawn with a basic stain or sand it out smooth and put finish on it?

So I got delayed, but oh well. Brandan is so happy about his new rifle and that makes my day more than anything could. He doesn't like having his picture taken, though.

So he got to hold it, and I'll go pick it up in 5 days, or earlier if they call me.

I just don't know yet. May smooth out the spikey bits and give it a try. If too rough go to town on it over the summer.

Bark on or bark off?

I'd try and leave bark on. use penny nails and shoot it on, if not it will eventually fall off

another option is resin it all around about 1/2" or thicker if you like.
