These liberal pussies won't be satisfied until we are all living in grass huts, wearing kilts made of pussy willows, and munching on alfalfa... "What Inslee had hoped people wouldn’t be seeing in the news is how he misled the legislature, the media and the general public about his plans to use his executive powers to impose a “low carbon fuel standard” (LCFS, or read “gas tax”) on Washington motorists." http://shiftwa.org/public-records-investigation-uncovers-truth-behind-inslees-gas-tax-scheme/Seems I will be protesting on the state capitol grounds in Olympia for more reasons than the I-594 push.

I am betting this is the Gov's staff getting ahead of him a little. I think I've met the guy whose initials are in that document "SC", he is on the Gov's staff.
Unless there is something showing that this was the Gov's plan, this is a storm in a teacup. The guy is very slick, but I've been impressed by several of things he has done 1) his behind the scenes (not when the cameras were rolling) care and interest I saw him display at the Oso slide, 2) vetoing the the stupid LE drone bill, and 3) signing the SBR bill (I know the last was a done deal but he could have pussed out).

This topic has made the morning program of both conservative talk shows in the Seattle area. I doubt it is so inconsequential. It will certainly mean something when gasoline prices rocket to $4.98/ gallon. Maybe we can all buy a Prius and give the liberals an orgasm!

[sarcasm] yay [/sarcasm] I couldn't have imagined this even a few years ago... I knew that there were some messed up things going on, but never imagined this. The hope for me is that the pace that the retardation has been expanding is waking up the great middle of the People, who suffer while evils are sufferable. Quote: Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. So here's to hope that the people are waking up to the erosion of their liberty and will vote in supporters of the Constitution and Bill of Rights!

It is always easiest for those who have never made, or generated anything besides Greenhouse Gases (CO2) in their lives. They are the same as the mooches, but with the power to extract from the masses. Not a good thing. Inslee is slick, but not intelligent. Good news (not) is we keep electing them. So who is the fool?

[sarcasm] yay [/sarcasm] The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Thomas Jefferson Our founding Father's were very wise men. Our constitution was well written. We would all hope it would not be necessary, but sometimes I wonder.

more than gas taxes, I fear Inslee will try to implement parts of CARB, or perhaps CARB in its entirety. looking forward to having to smog my trusty old Explorer, which will surely fail because I've eliminated a couple vacuum lines.

So, a draft document and some fears.... so what has he ACTUALLY done? I'm not an apologist, but I'd like to see some more concrete evidence or actions. So far he seems better than Gregoire (ok, that isn't saying much)
