What do you guys use for supporting the walls while you dig? Tried Tin garbage can, no good, currently using the barrel of my smoker. Anybody got a spare 30 gal drum lying around?

fire hose underwater mostly but i heard one the other day that deserves a try
4 inch auger, run into ground next to geoduck, remove auger, reach over and grab duck

I think the firehose might be frowned upon recreationally. Auger idea seems nice, little spendy though!

I don't know where we got it but picture a turkey fryer pot with the bottom cut off, work it down into the beach about 2-3ft, now the walls don't cave in. A razor clam gun is to small for geoducks
