Things like this look cool right up to the point you look at your first fuel receipt. You then get whacked again when you break a part.
They are pigs on land and pigs in the water. If you ever do take one for a trip on the water, be sure the bilge pump is working. To be sure bring along one or two gasoline powered pumps as well. Get one of these instead:  The M116 "Husky" can travel better over soft ground and is also amphibious. Powered by a Chev 283, they aren't that hard to keep running. Even the "geared steer" transmission is nice and durable.
