After working on thousands of crown vics, and learning to appreciate the simplicity of BOF.. and absolutely hating the unibody chargers, wimpalas, etc that I had to work on, I'm once again remembering why I love BOF vehicles with solid axles...
12 bolts.... and I can replace an entire rear axle.... (OK, I gotta take the 12 lug nuts to get the wheels off too, ugh)

I grabbed the wrong rear from the JY.....
It was an open rear and I needed a locker...

I'm a firebird/camaro guy and it always irked me that to get a little more performance, I have to weld in frame connectors that only fit as sold. I think my next toy will be a C3 corvette.
