UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. -- A Pierce County sheriff's spokesman says a man has been fatally shot outside a convenience store in University Place near Tacoma.
Spokesman Ed Troyer said two men were seen fleeing the area near Orchard and 38th streets; witnesses report hearing six of seven shots fired.

This was at home for me, literally across the corner from my apartment complex. We are fine as is the crew at my favorite pizza place. Tonight there were 20+ people there with purple hair, blue hair, and holes everywhere being actually quite civil. I've learned not to judge and am glad I didn't. Whomever he was he had lots of friends. The victim was finally identified but no arrests yet. Our block watch is a little shaken as this was right here.

Night time is 1 thing, broad daylight is brazen.

I was driving by when they were driving the mobile command unit into the parking lot. Ha ha. What a cluster that was.

Dude you live in the hood, I grew up behind manitou park/school. All the bad shit that happened was at the park or the apartments in your area. I forgot about the time when I was 14-15 and stoned out of my mind. I was at one of the bigger drug dealers apt, and a dude knocked on the door well something happened and he got stabbed a few times by the drug dealer. I left cus I didnt know what was going to be next. The guy was at the bottom of the stairs bleeding out, it was pretty crazy.

Yeah it definitely seems that way. It is also better than I remembered too. The management has done a fantastic job cleaning up the apartment complex so far and the Block Watch is working well. Though I am not naive enough to think nothing can happen here, it's a start. I knew what I was getting into coming here, but I couldn't beat the rent, the fireplace, and the location.

My son was an acquaintance of the victim.

To judge these young people without first taking the time to know them is an injustice to yourself and them.

Yep I know all about this one, it hit close to home for me too. However not in a manner I wish to discuss on an open forum.
