Thing's to do in Ocean Shores WA

I'm wanting to get the family out of the house this weekend (pending how the weather holds up) and I was thinking of taking them over to the coast. My daughter's and wife love the beach. We've already been to Westport, so I was thinking of going over to the other side and taking them to Ocean Shores. Have any of you guys been over there or know of anything "family friendly" to do over there? any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Beachcombing for treasure - all sorts of stuff comes in on the tide. Since the tsunami a few years ago, a lot more antique glass fishing floats have been showing up. They came from from old fishing gear piles and storage sheds that were washed away. Some are netted, some are marked with the manufacturers stamp, all sizes and some color variation as well.
My wife collects them. She says that they are pretty special, because some one blew life into them with a breath that is still trapped in the glass. Then, they were used as working net floats for years and years. Then, they escape, float around the ocean traveling for thousands of miles, and years and years in sun and water. Then, they wash up on a beach, survive not getting broken on the rocks, and finally get found by some one. Heck, I guess she is right - they are pretty special. There's a go kart track there. To the left of the track is a place that does up some good fish and chips. To be honest ocean shores is just about the most boring place on earth. It's got a few shops where you can get the ocean shores tye dye sweatshirts and all that jazz and the beach. Maybe you can go razor clam digging I'm not sure if it's the time for that though.

Sharky's for shark related souvenirs. See if they fixed there no carry issue. An employee made up some non-existent city ordinance that guns were not allowed in OS. I posted my experience on on their facebook page, and the owner hopped on saying he would fix that issue immediately. Saved me from buying a bunch of crap for the kids though.
