I'm going through on long ass thread (Post a random Pic) and I've been going through this off and on for 3 days! The sad part is I still have another 120 pages to go!
So we seem to have a few members who have deserted us that I've noticed... Kode Seldor Mercy Tomy Salami CledusVanDamme MrsVanDamme Walt A.Oster And I thought OldKim was a Mod? If you write some code software, and load Wa Guns backwards at 33 1/3 rpm, you are assimilated by the WaGuns Borg Collective.

This is pretty timely...I just spoke with a cop I met via TOS. He was clear that both boards have a reputation for being anti-LEO. He even warned me that he was a cop (and would be in uniform and a patrol car) before we met. Personally - I have incredibly high standards for the behavior/decision-making ability of LEOs...but you won't see me creating the cop-bashing threads or piling on. As a community - we really need to understand that LEOs are some of our best potential allies...hell, we didn't get the use of suppressors legalized without their support and with further anti-2A legislation on the horizon we need all the help we can get. It's very powerful to politicians if a cop says "A magazine capacity limit and AWB will not reduce crime," and clearly undercuts much of CeaseFire's/Brady Campaign's argument. As with everyone I meet - I am happy to take a LEO to the range and expose them to more lawful gun owners/carriers (and the fun - legally purchased - toys we have!). |

My response to him would be something like... yeah, so? If we are doing private, legal business. You are an equal to me, period. If I'm selling and don't like your offer, I can say no. I don't see any union hands leaving while whining about being bashed on.
I never saw Boeing people leave while whining about being bashed on. I never see loggers, mechanics, doctors, or any other profession where the media portrays them as evil crooked bastards leaving while whining about being bashed on. Plus, I don't really see where this so called bashing is occurring. If a couple people don't like how something is goin down it isn't bashing. If people want to leave, they have their reasons, but to use cop bashing as a scapegoat is weak. Four of the finest people I have met off local gun boards have been uniformed officers of some persuasion. Never met Mr. Walt but his rep as an outstanding humanoid precedes him.
