We've all heard the Divorce horror stories, and many of us have lived them. 3 weeks ago, After an erroneous 911 phone call was placed, the Renton police department called me out of bed, and used scare tactics on me at 1 in the morning, to illegally seize my pistol. After many phone calls, an email, and 2 trips to city hall...I just got it back.
Some buddies have asked me how I'm doing through all this, and I submit to you, the following conversation with the evidence technician. Me: I thought you'd be bigger. Her: I'm sorry? Me: Usually, when a woman sounds cute on the phone, they turn out to be pretty large in person. Her: (with dimples showing) Well...I don't know if I should be offended, or not! Me: Please don't be. Confused - how is this "winning"?
You let the cops walk away with your side arm when they shouldn't have. Had to spend time and effort to get it back. And you said about 20 words to a cute girl, and walked away with nothing. This is winning? |
