Port cop interaction at JFK

My son's Eagle Scout Ceremony is this weekend in NY (lives with his mom). I flew in today and this was the most humorous part of the day...
Looking for directions to the train when a pair of NY Port Cops come up on me and one says "Sir, can I talk to you for a moment?" I look left at his partner and back to him. "Am I being detained?" I say right off. He says "No sir, it's your t-shirt. You realize you are in a airport with lots of folks?" "Am I free to go?" "Look sir all I am saying is that some folks might take offense." I start smiling and am ready to say something stupid and I remember Houston and the Border issues I had. So I say " so I'm free to go?" He says have a good day sir. I replied "what till you see the one on Monday...." Pic of the back of my t-shirt....  |

According to Literacy Partners (http://www.literacypartners.org), 25% of New York City residents are functionally illiterate. So you're really only making three-quarters of them cry. Perhaps Monday's attire could address the remainder of the population...?
