Now we're all waiting for as Paul Harvey would say "the rest of the Story". That would be a picture of Monday's shirt and any encounters you might have had over wearing it.
Having traveled to NYC many times I'd say you were either lucky or they've finally "housebroken" the NYPD. I can recall a few incidents I witnessed where they weren't as "polite".
NYPD used to be known for "detaining" people up to the maximum they could hold a person without filing charges, even if your only offense was "pissing off an officer". To really show how big a bunch of dickheads they could be, the person would be transferred from precinct to precinct so even if they did call an attorney, he would have had to have a GPS tracking device to find his client.

This story just pisses me off. The sad part is you couldn't really ask them about the Constitution (1st or 2nd amendments) without being detained. That sort of intimidation is flat out crap. I'm sure they would not have said anything if you (or your dog) had this shirt on...

Monday's shirt reads " If you piss me off, I'm gonna rip your head off, and take a shit down the hole while making you watch. "

I'd like to see something like this:
I'm glad to be leaving this pussified state of NY. Liberalism is for slaves... enjoy your freedoms on your knees.

Looking for directions to the train when a pair of NY Port Cops come up on me and one says "Sir, can I talk to you for a moment?" I look left at his partner and back to him. "Am I being detained?" I say right off. He says "No sir, it's your t-shirt. You realize you are in a airport with lots of folks?" "Am I free to go?" "Look sir all I am saying is that some folks might take offense." I start smiling and am ready to say something stupid and I remember Houston and the Border issues I had. So I say " so I'm free to go?" He says have a good day sir. I replied "what till you see the one on Monday...." What did I miss? Did you tell us about this and I missed it? Linky? I would have liked to read how you sat them down and talked a little sense about how Americans should be cheering when they contemplate the meaning of the words on the t-shirt, but I 'spect we have to "win back" the right to free speech? I just wrote on the shopping list : more Pro 2A t-shirts and other outerwear. The missus enjoys finding things I put on that list.

2 things are missing from my bag.... My WaGuns Hat and my WaGuns Shirt (called home and they are on my pillow). So it looks like I will be wearing my Seahawks 12th man jersey on the ride home. Maybe I'll find a nearby mall kiosk that makes shirts, doubtful.
So far the trip is ok. Spending quality time with my son but I feel Sooooo naked without a gun and knife. I've needed my knife like 10xs but since I didn't check a bag, I wasn't going to risk losing a $70 knife.

What's wrong with wearing the same shirt as when you flew in? So it's a little stinky and wrinkled. Fuggit.

I used to have to fly into Newark several times a year for work. The NJ "Port Authority" (what a lame agency title) cops are so uptight that they can't even handle direct eye contact. Cops are hard not to notice, especially the over-the-top serious-looking NJ/NY cops, and usually if one looks at me I nod in acknowledgement. In fact I pretty much do this for anyone nearby who makes direct eye contact. This is like a big deal for the NJ PA cops, they don't look away from you once you do this, and it's like a game of chicken at that point to see who looks away first. I guess people in NJ/NY are afraid to even look a cop in the eye nowadays?

I guess people in NJ/NY are afraid to even look a cop in the eye nowadays? By maintaining eye contact, you have identified yourself as an agent of Al Qaeda. Clearly your confidence and show of respect is a precursor to a suitcase nuke. Clearly. They're doing it for the children, mancat, why can't you see that?

I laugh at the supposed toughness of new yorkers. They've been, most of them, pussified like CA.
