Announced today that guns are not allowed on Sonic or Chili's property even if you have a CPL! I have never been a fan of either chain but from this day on you will never see me step foot in either restaurant! Just can't support a chain of stores that want's to take away my right to protect myself or friends and family!

I do support their right to restrict firearms but I despise the idea of these public announcements that pretty much are just getting them free airtime/advertising and marketing this canned idea that guns are bad.

This isn't about safety. It's about being popular and drawing attention to yourself and right now the PC thing to be is anti gun.
These companies only care about one thing my friends $$$. The answer is simple, give them none of yours! And I agree with Marine,
if you must enter one of these places just carry concealed!

Hmmmm. Sonic is a fucking drive in... The only way they are going to know is if at the time of ordering 1000 grill cheese sandwiches you tell them you have a gun in your car... How in the hell is a sonic going to know if you are carrying???

Some places can't be avoided. Doctors offices. I'm not a fan of either chilis or sonic, so I have 0 issue not going there. But some other places I can't avoid, oldests baseball games(his park where the games are have a sign saying no firearms allowed) I didn't choose the place for games, but I choose to conceal to be able to see my son play ball and not cause me to be removed
