Why are people hating on Hi Points???? I've owned a Hi Point carbine and JCP handgun both in .40. I only got them because they were cheap and I wanted to try them out. They both functioned great every time I used them and I put at least 2000 rounds through each. I did later on trade my carbine for a trailer and sold the JCP to my brother. I've never experienced these failures/unreliability that most people have with Hi Points.

I guess this thread proves all discussions lead back to hi-points. A guy buries his guns, tells us about it and hi-points get all the glory.

Lets review what we have covered so far.
Someone irresponsibly buried guns in a place alongside the highway where anyone with a shovel can get them. Somewhat similar to leaving them on the back seat of your car. High Points are cheap guns that some people like, but most do not becuz they are cheap guns. This could go on forever.   |

Just make sure you don't take a photo of the location with a smart phone, then post it to somewhere that retains the EXIF data. It will usually have the GPS coords embedded in the data..
