SPU's affiliated church, First Free Methodist of Seattle, will be holding a prayer service tonight at 1900 for the victims. This was my home church growing up on Queen Anne, and is still the church that I take the boys to for Christmas Eve and Easter Day services. http://ffmc.org/

This is my alma mater. I graduated from SPU just a few years ago. No doubt, this is a major shock and a massive blow to the community at large. It's a very tight knit community where a lot of the alums are still very much involved with the school.
Please help lift the family and friends of the SPU community. |

To me the good side of this story, if what I heard was true, is two navy ROTC students subdued the punk while he was trying to reload.. That I hope will spin this story towards the need for allowing people to excerscise the rights to bear arms.
This to me shows that if there are folks able to defend themselves and others they will. I truly wish the Navy students had guns.... Then we wouldn't have to hear the drama of the prosecution of this little cowerdy scumbag. |

It came out on Q13 news that he might of had some mental issues and was off his meds.
