 Remembering D-Day

Really wish I'd gotten to see them. B's dad has a sweet deck with a view of the lake, but I must have missed them. Bummer, was hoping to get the 5 year old to see them too.

My maternal grandfather, a RCAF pilot held as a German POW in Dulag Luft Oberursel, was freed by American soldiers shortly after the D-Day operation, and for that, my family is forever grateful.
