So are there complete short barreled uppers to be had or do they have to be built??
If complete uppers are available who of the good brands have them?
Anyone have one for sale? Prefer factory stuff (again if available)

I think you're asking if sbr's can be built? If so, the answer is no. You must purchase an sbr that is complete, unfortunately.
Edit, sorry, i have reading issues, please disregard.

Tons of manufacturers make and sell them. The SBR part is the registered lower receiver. Btw I do have access to Pistol length uppers from a few manufacturers Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk

I know oly arms makes a 10mm rifle with a 16" barrel i think it would be awesome as a sbr or pistol with sig brace...

BCM is a great group of guys who make a great product. My upper is from them. All of my uppers when I buy complete will come from them.

So someone explain to me why just an upper is as much as an entire rifle?? is it supply and demand or good old gouging, WTF?? It certainly DOES NOT cost as much to make as a whole rifle, sorry it just dont

depends on the manufacturer and quality of the parts used.. and labor is not cheap... I have a noveske upper and it is one very accurate pistol.. https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/ ... ct_id=1357
