Well . . . it's spreading fast enough in Africa that I think it's reasonable to be a bit concerned.
While I agree that we probably wash our hands more often than they do, I also find it unlikely that they are licking doorhandles or rubbing their faces in crap.
Maybe panic isn't warranted, but a high level of caution certainly is.

I did overstate it. However, It is not something completely new. This strain is new, however it is not transmitted as easily as people seem to think.

Except the research that showed it was airborne between certain species.... one mutation is all it takes...let's not forget that with the more people infected..the higher the likelihood that mutation occurs

No. One mutation is not all it takes. That is not how that works.
Infection vectors are not something that just changes. There is little chance for this to happen without outside help. Even weaponized Ebola is not all that good of a "population killer".
You sound like someone who watched Outbreak and now are an expert.
Yes the virus has mutated, no it is not just "one mutation away" from becoming airborne. This is not how viruses work.
