How do you figure? You have to explain that one!
Umm...things that are legal generally have a weak or nonexistent black market, and little crime associated with their acquisition and distribution. For instance...alcohol.
It's much harder and very expensive to boot leg however crime gfs not gone down since dope had become "legal"
Pot's not the major money maker in the black market. Sure, the demand is broad, but the profit margin is not.

How much is enough time? How long does it take till people know they can go to a store and buy it rather than that guy on the street corner? Why are people not being made aware of this? Why are people still being shot and robbed over drugs?

First off, you are trying to equate the heavily structured legal market of weed (which in my mind needs to be greatly relaxed to achieve the maximum benefit of legalizing weed) with all drug use and drug crime.
Right now, I would doubt the legal pot market can fill all the demand for weed, but it's certainly made a dent in the black market.
People were not getting shot and killed over heroin cough syrup over a century ago. What changed?

Why are you mixing weed in with all the other drugs?

Why are people still being shot and robbed over cars, jewelry, TV's, and stereo equipment?
Because it's valuable.
Is there an incident since legalization of a robbery/assault/murder over just marijuana? Or was cash involved? Or other drugs?

Until the state decides to lower the tax on weed there will always be guys selling it to people for the usual 10 bucks a gram. These recreational joints are perfect for the person that just wants to smoke once a year, doesn't know a dealer or just thinks it's cool to be able to walk in and buy weed. Until the prices are the same there will always be dealers and people that just deal with them.

Do you drink alcohol? Smoke tobacco? Drink caffeinated beverages?
All drugs. Two of which have been banned in this state before.
You have a serious issue with drugs and seem to be unable or unwilling to distinguish between the use of illegal drugs, and the crime associated with black markets. What are your solution to drug fueled crime? Bonus points if you end up sounding like an anti gunner if a few words are changed.
You don't like legalization or decriminalization, so what are you offering? Mass incarceration? Militarized police kicking in doors? Perhaps a "war" on drugs even? Oh. Wait. Shit. That works so well, I'm hoping for a war on .22 ammo, so that cartels flood the streets with the stuff.

Yes because anyone who is a "druggie" must be a terrible person who will deservedly go to prison.
Open your eyes and realize that not everyone who uses drugs is a degenerate like those you see on Aurora or downtown or in your intake tank. Some of us "druggies" are working members of society. Some of us are influential. Some of us are fellow Second Amendment supporters.

I suspect Mash has stared at the abyss so long, it stared back. Or it's just easier to see criminals as sub human. That's always worked well in the past.

seriously? You're trading dirty needles in the middle of a fucking restaurant parking lot?
I watch this happen a few times...so I decide to pull out my phone and record it... sorry about the vertical...
So...apparently...your taxpayer dollars are funding drug users...so they can get high...a little bit safer....
Taxington is at the State of the State that will support anything that will generate taxes. Next they will be selling your kids to perverts.

You were saying? From your own admission you are not legally able to own firearms.
Thus is why I will always be employed. Inmates have a lot of things incommon besides drug use

11E is a moot point now here in Washington...."unlawful user" (yes, I get that we are dealing with a federal law) but Frankly, Pot smoking is far less of a threat than Alcohol. Mash...do you really think it's worth our tax dollars to incarcerate a pot smoker? I don't, and I doubt most LEO's feel it's worth it either.

Yes he does. He thinks if you ever touched anything at any point in time that the government says is bad you should go to jail. And be ass raped by goats. Possibly other things, but I don't know whats on his mind.
