Freedom, small government, and the right to make personal choices only count if it was something Reagan approved of. That's how the right wing works. In other words, you're SOL if you aren't a gun owning straight white dude with a wife, two kids, a dog and a well manicured lawn in suburbia.

In other words, you're SOL if you want to own a gun, not feel guilty for being white, believe in traditional marriage, raise your kids to earn their own money, and have a nicer house and car than someone else. |

And the libertarian ideal manages to piss off both sides. On the subject of traditional marriage, can I buy your daughter? I can come up with silver and goats. I'll even get circumcised to make it a traditional, Bible based marriage.

I just find it funny how to some people "drug user" immediately equals "bad person who deserves prison time". There's a vast difference between a methed up junkie breaking into your house to steal your TV and the person who likes to smoke a joint after they come home from work. Give me ONE valid point as to how the latter person is doing harm to themselves or others and I'll eat my hat.
On the original topic, yes, we give junkies a way to dispose of their dirty needles.
