Ok now that I got that out of the way the only part that kinda bugged me was when the sandstorm hit and the guys were being picked up by the QRF, I did not care for the "dramatic" reaching out the back of the Troop Carrier to grab Chris.
I hear what you're saying. Did you note the symbolism in that same scene where it showed him dropping his gear along with his RIFLE to make it into the QRF carrier. In the beginning of the movie when he was a kid, his father scolded him for throwing his rifle in the dirt.
Yeah, there were a couple of odd parts but still a fantastic movie.
That was the sign for he was done![]()
OPS=Michael Moore
Yes I did get the symbolism behind him dropping his Rifle but I didn't care for the long "hand grabbing" scene.

I heard that there is a lot that happened in the book that didn't make it into the movie.

As is usually the case in every movie that was preceded by a book.

You cant see 10 feet in front of you and the wind feels like needles anywhere there is bare skin. I have a couple pics i'll try to dig out when I get home tonight. at 3pm mid day it was incredibly dark and you could stare directly at the sun that was no bigger/brighter than the moon on a cloudy night.
great movie though. I was sick at the end and felt it hugely unnecessary to have that haji use a fucking power drill on that kids skull however.
