I don't care if there's no crying in baseball. I'm not in baseball, unless you count pitching for the two younger boys' coach-pitch games as being in baseball. Nelson Cruz hits the first out-of-the-park ball in the history of Safeco field, during batting practice, and then the M's go on to lose in an absolute heartbreaking trainwreck? Yah. I'll be under the covers crying (okay, so I don't cry...maybe some muffled sniffling) if anybody needs me.

There is a reason why they play 162 games. RELAX.
.5 game ahead of Texas, one game out of the best record in the AL. If we can maintain decent ball until' Marte and Marin come back we will be fine. The series in Texas coming up is going to be tough, we need to hang in there

The series in Texas coming up is going to be tough, we need to hang in there I know. I've said it before, I literally can't remember not being a Mariners fan. So I'm okay. Not crying. This one just packed a little more emotional punch than most others. It's more my brother's fault, he really wanted the M's to win on the same day his son was born (my new nephew hatched in the wee hours of the morning today), and he was exhausted and really not making any sense, watching the game, and sort of lost it when the M's lost it.

Been going to games since I was 5 (1984) so I'm used to seeing the types of shit show games like we did tonight. I went both last night and tonight, same story.
Shitty starting pitching, lackluster offense, crap bull pen.

Not sure why I haven't dropped dead yet from the Seattle teams. They just need to be a lot better with runners on the bases.

I think they need to test the grass in front of the home dugout for THC...

Don't know if those were technically TOOTBLANs, but damn that was some horrible base running.
Anyway, still in first place. Onward.

mash man wrote: WTF was with that last play last night. Wow I give that one to the Twins catcher. He got all over that second bobble and threw a laser to get Seager to second guess himself. Again. He needs to figure out who he is and go with it. Too much Seattle indecision in that kid. Looks like a Subaru Outback driver out there. "Should I stay or should I go?"
