Season 3 was weak.

I really liked the first few but it seems to be the same as the show progress. They hunker down and are safe for a while then a threat that is non zombie related comes along and they have a shoot out move on and repeat.

The zombies are a static threat, and to some extent, they're more a part of the back drop of the story.
