But he at least lasted three seasons, and we got to see some cameos from previous deceased.

Freakish and unexpected to say the least.

- Spoiler: show
- That bleeding heart Rodney King wanna be should've been off'd that day in the lookout shack when he failed to kill the guy threatening the little baby thing. I'm glad he's gone.

Some spoiler ish stuff
- Spoiler: show
- Nicotero said the walker torsos (we saw lower halves in the yard, and upper halves in the truck that spilled out) is part of a mystery that will be revealed.... apparently they have W carved on them...?
Also Andy Lincoln did the radio announcer voice in his normal accent.

He wasn't that at all. Geeze dude. He was mostly crazed split personality. One day hammer time, next minute near psychosis. Pretty much normal given the situation.

You knew it was one of the black males that was going to get off`d first. each season so far they have only let one black male live other than when one was just introduced. Who will be next? The preacher, Noah, Morgan?

Yeah... Good episode except the end... Pretty not cool to do that on the first episode of the second half of the season....

Sure, kill the black guy, happy black history month...
I'm a big fan of the show, but this episode seemed to play out like it was produced by a French art student. Too much thinking and feelings and emotions, too repetitive. Too many creative camera angles and fades, just too slow and artsy.
odd how they find all the arms and below the belt sections, then all the heads and torsos in the back of the truck. I'm guessing we'll learn more about that.

I agree on the artsy stuff....the hallucinations so we could see all the other killed off actors.....what they haven't found jobs yet? Who knew??
But the wolf warning.........my theory of the bodies in the truck were some kind of weapon or moat fill with biter halves.......ugg....

I suspect those were people they killed and they were sending a message...leaving them as walkers but carving a "W" on their head was sort of like branding cattle or leaving a calling card.

He should've been shot when he pussified out, not killing Martin. He even lied about it. Weep for your moral compass all you want. Glad he's gone. Shame it took this long.

It's a message...just like Dale and Hershel, he represented the moral compass of the group and someone who was not willing or able to move into the "grey" area where Rick (and Sasha for that matter) is now operating. The rest of the group loved him and what he represented...but he dies. The impact of these deaths is stacking up...Dale's death made people sad, Hershel's death was traumatizing and I suspect Sasha will now begin to rival Carol as the female version of Rick (cold, calculating and extremely direct).
Who knows where the show will go...but the comic is way darker and gets even darker around this point. Glenn picking up that baseball base is foreshadowing quite a bit.

I get the literary aspect of the show and having the torch bearer for humanity, etc..... The comics are much better IMO but the TV show has taken a different path, although at times they start to get close enough to see each other.
Wolves. Not far.
