hands go to his hips/pockets and back out towards the cops (at about 18 seconds) just after stopping and turning towards the cops. I'm guessing this was mistaken for pulling something out of his pocket? Might have looked different from the cops point of view.

I'm guessing this was mistaken for pulling something out of his pocket? Might have looked different from the cops point of view. I had a man threaten to shoot me, after calling me every name in the book, as he was reaching to his glovebox... He managed not to get shot.. WHY? Because i saw his hands were empty. Me, someone who's 'never served' (and would never understand), and had a fraction of the training of a LEO, managing to decide not to shoot, with adrenaline pumping through me, ... So, a man had JUST BEEN SHOT AT.. ran from the police.... (still)... I don't know about you.. but I wouldn't stand there letting someone shoot at me. So, his hands are out, and they're empty... and he's shot. Would a REASONABLE person believe he's a threat? I'd say not.... If I can NOT shoot someone who has threatened me with a firearm, has the means and capability, and is motioning towards where it would be kept, I'd think that a cop can NOT shoot someone who clearly has his hands empty... This whole scenario stinks, and the cops will get off, bet $$$$ on it...

On a semi-related note, Fiesta Foods is a freaking outstanding store . . . hopefully there aren't any bullet holes in it.

That's BS, watching the whole act of his flambouyant half assed running, that was just flambouyant hand waving. They went to his crotch and right back out (probably not even purposefully), not the kind of motion to effectively draw anything other than his dick.

Next time I see a flambouyant ass retard throwing rocks, waving his hands around, I will remember your post and realize what kind of a threat that person could be.

Zoom in and watch it second by second. As UpDog stated, his hands go down to his crotch and then bounce back up - he doesn't go into his pockets or under his shirt (as someone who has appendix carried for 9 years, I know there's a lot more involved in drawing from that position than simply bringing your hands down to your waist). When his hands come back up, they are clearly empty. This is not a good shoot.

Just watched it....That was a bad shoot. Hell, that was an execution. ...and just for the record so nobody thinks I'm anti-cop. In my family there is/was a Superior court judge, a US Marshall and SPD detective, and a King Co sheriff's deputy. I bet they would all agree that was a bad shoot. WTF is going on with this shit?

Tuesday’s incident was the fourth fatal shooting involving a Tri-City police officer in Pasco in the last six months. Officers have been cleared of any wrongdoing in all three of the previous cases.
Big surprise!!

Big surprise!! I haven't researched the others, but they involved a knife, a gun, and a pellet gun... There are good shoots too.... Most of them are..
