Hi all,

I'm hoping for some input as it relates to where in Washington I can get a piece of land big enough to either build/buy a home and being able to shoot in my backyard.

I've been in WA for less than a year and am still getting acquainted with the area... and I'm not sure how well acquainted realtors are when it comes to stuff like this (I hear that there may be zoning issues).

I've been told that areas like Carnation would be a good place to start.

Since I work from home, I am curious about areas where I can get a decent plot of land (open to suggestions) where i can essentially step out of my house and into my own outdoor range.

If it helps, I plan to run a can on all the pistols/rifles that I shoot.

Thanks in advance for any advice or other things I ought to take into consideration.

Have a good one! :hangloose:

I can get you five acres in Roy, complete with natural berms and a pond to shoot deer and ducks at. Call the broker, Judi Kidd 253 298 1382, tell her you are interested in the 5 acre Roy property.

I used to shoot off of Sultan Basin road, but they are chasing people out....giving them tickets and such.
There is a place, about a half hour, outside Gold Bar, that I want to check out....I just need someone to check it out with me-lol

If you are talking about FS 62, they have closed the shooting pits on that road :frust:

Ya, I saw that last time I was there.
I had a buddy shoot off of FS65. he said there was a nice 75-100 yard spot.

Don't know what she paid but we went to an Easter party yesterday at on of my wife's friend's place down by Oakville (past Rochester) and she has 250 acres on what to. be a working farm. Pretty sure that would do the trick.
