That sounds like one hell of a job! The article really goes into a lot more than the title leads on. It's pretty impressive (and scary) to know how many arms of Google are wrapped around us daily. Hail Hydra? This part made me chuckle.. Quote: For Maris, Foundation Medicine represents the beginning of a revolution. “The analogy I use is this,” he says, holding up his iPhone 6. “Even five years ago, this would have been unimaginable. Twenty years ago, you wouldn’t have been able to talk to anyone on this.” So, here is Maris, a important guy at Google, holding up an... iPhone?

If we ever start extending human lifespans like that, the earth is screwed. We're going to need to SEVERELY limit the number of children we have, or we're going to need to be incredibly clever with how we live in this planet.

Humans can live to 120, in recent year, the longest recorded lifespan has been 122.5 I believe.
500 years is certainly possible, but unless we can live much of that in an extended 20s or 30s body, maybe 40s, I'm not sure what the quality of life would be.

They need to start figuring out a way how to reproduce the Earth...

Before anyone else says it, I will admit that I am halfway there.

Too many stupid people having all the kids. The smart ones are not.

They had the years of Jubilee back then, so Moses would wipe out the debt every 7 years, or 40....can't recall exactly. Sorry Jim, I have to side with Moses there.
