Your Polish needs some polishing.

:ROFLMAO:

Those were a few of the phonetic fragments I still remember from an after-school Russian language class I was in during 1963 (Fort Vancouver High School). Our teacher had one copy of a US Army field manual of Russian phrases and dialogues, so everything we learned was via oral memorization. In retrospect, I figure she was left of most lefties . . . .

What do my phrases (almost) translate to in Polish?

Not sure about Polish...

But in Russian all I could make out is "my buddy" and " the bathroom" but it made no sense as far as complete sentence s go...

They were segments from dialogues, but what I think I remember them meaning was:
Etta moy preotnyel. This is my (sister?).
Gdyeh oobornya, Where is the/a bathroom?
e ya toisha tom? Do you, too? (at the end of, "da, ya oochoos yawzaku rawzaku" which I think was, "Yes, I speak Russian, . . .")

If you believe mass media bullshit, then yes.

If you follow any real news/independent outlet it was humanitarian aid.

Molotov said the USSR was airdropping bread to starving Finns.

The Finns responded by serving a special cocktail to Soviet tankers.

Power was cut to Kremlin for several hours last night.

Most people at this point believe this is either a smoke out by Putin to identify internal opposition, or there has been a genuine coup and Russia is currently operating without a complete government.

Have read that many in Russia are not happy about Putin going into Ukraine and there is serious internal opposition but I don't know how much of that is true.

As for the white trucks in Crimea, if you think they weren't carrying equipment and troops, you're naive. And I say that as someone who doesn't naturally hate/distrust Russia like many do, just not a fan of Putin.

The first part about reading people being unhappy about "Putin going into Ukraine" isn't true.
1.) Russia has not sent soldiers into Ukraine. If they did there would not be a war or battles. There would no longer be a Ukraine.
2.) Russians are VERY happy about Crimea returning home to Russia.

White trucks weren't going to Crimea, Crimea is Russia so there is no need to "hide" anything :)

The white trucks that were going to Donbas and Lugansk were carrying humanitarian aid. Food. Clothing. Water. Automatic Rifles. Ammunition.
Exactly the things you need to fight off a Fascist regime that is set on Genocide.

Definitely no Russian troops ordered there though. Volunteers yes but they're there on their own terms. The same as the Serbians, Chechens, Armenians and pretty much anyone that opposes NATO or the UN.

Fascinating Fun Fact(TM)

Without Russia, there might not be a United States, thanks to Russia's close friendship to the US at the time, and their ability to keep British and French meddling to a minimum, for fear Russia would join the US against a British-French intervention on behalf of the Confederacy.
