I happen to like WAC. I go to most all the Monroe shows because they are about 10 miles from my house. I've gotten to know many of the sellers, I see friends there and my church gun groups goes together from time to time. I just buy a 2-3 year membership and don't sweat all the BS like some of the guys here do. I rarely buy much at the shows (I did buy a Glock 20SF). But sometimes I'll get something at an OK price. I just like guns and gun stuff and their monthy rag is OK.

I was a member for many, many years. When the current president ( an attorney that practices by contract as city prosecutor for a couple towns) went to the DOR about taxes, we suddenly had to have a "business" license if we were to have more that two tables rented per year. With the relaxing of rules, they started letting flea market types rent tables with everything from tools, dolls, blankets, cameras, the status changed from an arms collector club to a big flea market. The number of FFL holders that moved their weekend business to the show, with inflated prices to cover their additional cost....well you can figure the rest. I refuse to buy a business license to engage in a hobby.

Hell, WaGuns has had many tables in the past. I think there are some that are critical of the sellers(over priced used guns), non-gun sellers(pretty rocks and leather dream catchers) and against some members of the BOD. While I maybe go once a year, that is the same for most gun shows. Some on here are at every show.

I appreciate all of the replies! It seems I am getting a good sampling of different views. I like that. Guess I'll have to check out one of their shows and see for myself....

I've never heard of a show requiring membership... April show is April 11th/12th - I will have Sheriff Dickerson's crew there to issue Oregon Concealed Licenses to Washington residents. Check out my signature line for more info. All the info and training is free. Cost is $75.

Does that mean a Washington resident can purchase firearms in Oregon? wa with OR cpl has nothing to do with it, you must go thru ffl. Your OR cpl allows you to carry there.

Does that mean a Washington resident can purchase firearms in Oregon? You may buy firearms in another state. If it is a long gun and you complete the paperwork and pass the required background check, you may possess it at that time. If it is a handgun, it must be shipped back to a FFL of your choice in your home state to do the required paperwork and background check. There is a pending Federal Court case on the handgun issue but at this time follow the rules above.
