Saw a blurb on the news this morning that the "suspect" claims that the police were not his target, that he was shooting at someone else

I've shot a sapi plate at 100y a few times around 1/2 my shots went clink. I'm a terrible terrible shot shooting a silhouette target at an indoor range sometimes I group 2'. Maybe my cz75 just likes shooting 100y.
