Doesn't surprise me. Columbia University, The Rhode Scholars program, Oxford University and Yale Law School don't tend to fudge their scoring system either. I know him and we have some mutual friends/professional contacts - he's pretty brilliant/motivated. Getting friendly with him now is a smart long-term play for the 2A community - I don't expect him to stop at State Senator.
