You really don't need mag pouches to start off... A holster yes but "mag pouches" = almost any pocket is good enough to start off.

I use to regularly shoot. Need new pouches for USPSA as I switched guns.

I can't remember, can I use my 3-Gun Safariland ELS belt system for IDPA?

Technically no, that belt would be illegal. But at WCA they might let you use it. They are a little more lenient on the rules. At Renton or Puyallup you be probably allowed to use it once if it was your first ever match. But you would be told it was illegal and wouldn't be able to use it again. I am a IDPA certified Safety Officer and have been Match Director at both WCA and Renton and regularly run squads at Puyallup and Renton IDPA matches.

From the current rule book:

8.4 Belts
Belts may be no wider than 1 ¾ inches (44.5 mm) or thicker than 5/16 inches (7.9 mm) and must pass
through a minimum of all but two of the pant loops.

Met another WaGunner there...he and his kid will shoot in two weeks :thumbsup2:

I'm old and cant remember what his WaGun tag was.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I'll use my regular carry stuff which is the point after all! Just wanted to get some time on the new belt before 3 gun.
Appreciate it.

Wear it, as long as you're safe, you are fine at tnpl, and where else are you going to get move and shoot practice time with it?

I use the bladetech competition belt, and nobody at Renton has said anything. Maybe it's different than the safariland.

Think it has to do with all the migration of tech workers from all over the country to Seattle. Seattle arguably the best tech city right now and has been for a few years.

But then again, I lived in CA for a long time, and people didn't suck so bad there...

Thinking maybe this got worse after pot was legalized? Maybe everyone is just :bonghit:

No problem!!

I've done lots of videos from WCA and all over Washington. Some from Oregon and one from California too and have posted all of them in the Competition Shooting part of the forum. thumbsup
