Those make me laugh so much. Am I a terrible person? PMB wrote: dan360 wrote: No hunting on the family property...mama will kill us. That was always my personal rule in Washington. Even up on the treefarm... Kind of wanted to keep them as relaxed as possible on the home spread. But out here... They're a menace. I've already hit 3 while driving, and I'm a good driver. Careful. Careful makes no difference when the deer want to commit suicide on the front bumper of your car though. I was just thinking that we all know a good way to reduce the deer population. Need some help? Ask in the fall. Growing up in Eastern WA I think the most I ever saw on a drive was 192 or something. In the mountains between Gifford WA and Addy WA. They were just everywhere.

I know I'm not the sharpest knife in the tool box, but I don't get it, what's not to believe? I live in the middle of Lakewood, on Military rd sw no less, and I routinely have deer in my front lawn maybe 50 feet from traffic, they cross my driveway a few feet from my front door and in the abandoned lot behind my house they can be found napping on a fairly regular basis when the weather is nice, even the young ones. They rarely spook, even when I pull up in my full size bronco. When they see me on foot taking pics they usually stare until I get within 10-20 feet before sauntering off all non-chelant like. They might run if they get wind of my dog. They come out of the ft Lewis reservation areas. I have pics somewhere on my wife's laptop, maybe I'll post some if someone calls me out and I can figure out how.

Jack, the punchline of the story is that I am a big bullshitter. I tend to slightly exaggerate some minor details. Sometimes. Very rarely.
Nothing too fancy about these here deer. There are a lot of folks who don't get herds in their front yards, and I am taunting them at the risk of having the white beat off of me the next time I show my ugly mug for an A-hole breakfast or group shoot. I live on the edge.

Oh...Ok...I hear ya. I like to live on the edge too, of military rd SW, in Lakewood, it's very urban and populated with lots of people and it's a really busy road with lots of traffic and I have deer in the yard all the time, I really do, so I can totally believe u have deer in your yard, heck u even posted pics as proof. Btw, that squirrel launcher is fuckin sweeeeet. Gotta get me one of them, I'm gonna aim it at the deer and see if I can impale one of them squirrels on the deer's antlers. Woooooot!

What's with the question mark at the end of your statement? Are u confused? Was I unclear or r u, some kind of snitchin' fuckin' mole for P.E.T.A. or something? Trying to get me to cop to animal cruelty? That's fuckin' entrapment dude, besides I never said "attack" you're putting words in my mouth. The whole process would be completly less-lethal. By "impale" I mean the squirrel would simply land softly on the deer's antlers where it could hang by its tail like a Christmas tree ornament thus bringing together two warm and furry pestilent creatures in a loving symbiotic relationship, who would have otherwise never had a chance to know each other. Peace.

Peace. it's only a question because I've never seen/heard of something. I can just see the unsuspecting but now panicking squirrels flying rapidly at the docile and oblivious deer. Only to be suddenly attacked by 4 claws and a freaked out little squirrel. I think you'll need some sort of sight and adjustments for the prongs of the launcher, so you can ensure you hit the deer squarely. I request you also get a 1080p gopro camera so we can all watch this.

Never heard of a man who simply loves all gods creatures so much he only wants to bring them all together to love one another? U can't fool me Mr. Company man. +1 on the go pro. That's friggin hilarious, I'm gonna have to convince one of the squirrels to wear a go pro helmet if for no other reason than to prove that I'm on the up and up. That would be some epic footage.
